Two new adventures

We're a little behind on sharing our adventures so we're going to combine two of our recent outings.

The first time that we went on a walk with Brice wearing his backpack, we were curious to see if it would bother him. Other than forgetting that he was now a little wider than normal and running into things with his pack, there were no issues - he didn't try to get it off or refuse to move with it on. We haven't confirmed it but we think he was taught to wear a pack while he was with his former treat dispenser since he was learning to be a service dog.

Posing with Dad - not one picture had all 3 looking at the camera

Because Eva has perfect recall and doesn't wander too far, she is allowed off leash in certain situations. Brice, of course, thinks that it's very unfair.

Brice is now the official water carrier.

Our Dad loves all things historical so yesterday we went to Fort Snelling State Park.

Waiting for Momma while she stopped in the visitor center

This is the trail that we picked for today

There were lots of areas on the trail that overlook the river

Very wise words on a banner along the trail
(there was a bike marathon going through the park)

We were going to go up to the historic site but we took a wrong turn and ended up at the Minnehaha Falls dog park which is along the river.

There were 75 - 100 dogs and their people at the park

Eva is searching for Brice

Our parents made us go to less populated area so that Brice would settle down and stop running all over. Eva gets really stressed when Brice, Momma and Dad are not in a herd formation.

Brice was not listening because there was too much excitement.
So he was put back on a 20 ft training lead

Just strolling along the river

As usual, I'm a good girl and not running all over

Just look at all of that water

Dad says that we get to go back next weekend and explore more areas of this park.

Woof ya later,
Princess Eva & Brice

What a simply lovely post. I realy enjoyed loking and hearing about your adventures. Mum said that looks like a very lovely place to walk.
How clever that you can carry your water in a back pack. I wouldn't like that at all.but then I am a cat.

That was an awful lot of woofies in one place, no wonder it got a litle overwhelming. Thanks for sharing your adventures, I look forward to the next one.

Oh, Brice! You look SO very handsome in your backpack! I especially like the picture of you looking right at ME, smiling! (Where you're marked as the official water carrier!)
Great pictures! You two sure look like you had fun!

We think that group shot with Dad was very nice, at least the pups didn't have their heads turned backwards. Dad looks great there too.

Nice park, wish we could get to go to something like that.

What great adventures! Although I'm not sure why you'd want to get in that water?

I have that same problem of running into things while wearing my backpack. Also my leash gets tangled in it when I shake. Otherwise it's not too bad.
