We're back!

Sorry that we've been missing for a few days. We like to keep our parents busy so we've been traveling to several parks.

We went to Minnewashta Dog Park. We usually don't go to this park since it's not fully fenced but our parents called Brice away from the marshy area that isn't fenced so he didn't figure that out.

We met Eva (but pronounced Ava). She's a search and rescue dog in training. We did a few laps of the park with her and her mom.

We also went to the grand opening of the new location of our favorite pet supply store to get kibble and the prizes for the winners in the "Guess Brice's Weight" contest. (Sorry, they're finally in the mail today) While we were there, we met Izzo who is a little golden puppy learning to be a service dog. We had seen a new addition to the DWB list for Dempsey who is also a golden pup in service dog training. Izzo is Dempsey's littermate and they both live here in Minnesota.

Yesterday we went to the Interstate State Park. It was a little toasty but we took lots of water and cool down breaks.

Waiting while the parents decide which path we're going to take.

The trails were rocky going down............

and up!

Eva hiking through some of the narrow passageways

The other side of the river

Brice scared Momma when he jumped up on this retaining wall.
There is a big drop to the trails below.

Another view of the river

Brice "helped" Momma up some of the paths. They were very rocky and she made him walk behind her when going down since she didn't want to end up with any broken bones.

Posing on some of the exposed rocks

Eva got to lead the pack most of the day.

Another view ( Dad took approx 120 pictures during this hike)

Don't worry. I'm not going to jump off the cliff.

Eva's cooling her feety-feet in the river

After a short nap(Momma's still recovering from yesterday), we'll be making the blog rounds to see what everyone else has been up to.

Woof ya later,
Princess Eva & Brice

Taylor's Falls and St. Croix Falls area are just some of the greatest places to be, rich in history too.
My Mom said she used to live in Wisconsin before she met me and spent some time there.

Stella

Only 120 photos? Your dad isn't trying very hard is he? My mum would have taken about 600. She's mad though.

Very nice adventure!

Wow--beautiful hike! Lots of shade and a river! We would love to have so many neat places to go. Mommee is trying a park-a-week challenge this summer, but our parks are not as pretty as yours!
