ET phone home!

Have you ever noticed that someone in our pack has a slightly different look to him.

Let me show you.

Here is how he normally looks.
Take a closer look at his eyes. See how they tilt.

Do they look like another image that you may have seen?
We're going to go explore this mystery and will be back in a few weeks. We'll try to sneak away to read and comment.

A busy week

Life has been busy around here lately.

Dad made a really big opening in our wall. Momma had to block off the opening because somepup almost got hit with a hammer because he was supervising too closely. Even when they were hammering, he didn't have the sense to go hang out in his kennel.

Momma painted the office but we weren't allowed to supervise since I like to help a little too much and then end up with paint from my ears to my tail.

What you doing Dad?

Our neighbors Jeff and Scott were helping.

We received a box of stuffies from our friend Summi.

By the end of the day, two were de-squeaked and de-stuffed

The other day, our friend Zimmie was talking our hiding spots. This is my favorite because some other pup can't fit back here.

Brice's classes are going fairly well. He is the rock star of the class as far as the exercises but he has the occasionaly barking fit. The instructor actually asked if he was possibly scared of other dogs. They had to pick Momma up off the floor after she fell because she was laughing so hard.

Our friends Dakota, Phantom and Thunder gave us this bewootiful award. We'll be back tomorrow to pass this award on to some of our friends. Momma has to look to see who has not received it yet.

Momma says we can only have the laptop for another hour so we're going to sign off and go visit other blogs. Then she's going to get paint for the living room. I'm sure sure she won't let us supervise that either.

See ya later.

P.S. from Momma - we knew that there can be challenges in bringing a young adult dog into an existing pack but lately it's like they turned into human 3 year olds. They play nicely and then it's like they're screaming "Mom, he touched me" and "She touched me first". It's been very time consuming to have to supervise them constantly.

They call me Mr. Muffin

In support of our Queen Meeshka and her blogging marathon to raise funds for Harnessed to Hope Northern Breed Rescue, today has been declared Huzzy & Studmuffin Day.

Princess Eva does not think that participating in this activity is becoming of a princess and as a result, refuses to participate. (She doesn't want the pictures to come back and haunt her later and knock her tiara off)

However, Brice is game for anything. Momma has destroyed all evidence of non-family friendly photography that resulted in his cover "article" in Playdog but has agreed to let Brice pose "nekkid". Due to his recent surgery, he is having a major coat blow.

Soon Momma recognized that the photographer was only taking tasteful photos and I was able to talk her into letting me remove my collar.

Please stop by to check out Meeshka's 100 posts in 5 days and, if possible, donate to a great rescue.

Once again, our humans have fallen way behind in blogs. We'll try to get them back to the computer this weekend. They've been distracted with things including installing the new patio door that Brice is posing in front of. We have pictures of him "helping" and will post them later and updates on Brice's obedience classes, and the box that came in the mail and Brice's latest stuffie/household item count and the list goes on and on.

'Til then,
Princess Eva and Brice
