We made it through the night OK. Brice doesn't even flicker an ear at the boomies but we were at full "protect the Princess from the assault" mode - storm shirt, Rescue Remedy, movie with loud noises, and a magic pill. She was still stressed and wanted her momma but not shaking and drooling excessively. So it was a good night.
We got a late start on the park today but needed to get in a little zoomie time.
It's a "Field of Dreams" moment
Since the ticks are so bad this year, we are using dual tick protection - something from the vet and we get misted with a essential oils. We also get a daily tick check - if Momma finds one, she makes Dad get rid of it.
Woof ya later!

Ooooh! I especially like those first two pictures - but they're all great.
I'm glad you all survived last night. It was awful here - it even upset the boys! (Storm was a given - though now that she's deaf, it wasn't as bad.) I was fine and "very brave" according to Mom. I insisted on going out with Storm and with Zim for potty breaks, to make sure they were OK. Dave wasn't as upset - he gets a lot of comfort from Mom.

Ammy
w00fs, y does hoomans do those loud boom booms when it skeers sum of us so bad...me not skeered..wow, bricey runs really really fast..
b safe,

We made it through the night just fine, but mainly because we live away from where anyone would fire off fireworks. The town show is on the other side of the ridge, so we don't even hear that (which lets the humans go watch it and The Herd stay safe and sound snoozing at home).
However, we were down in Asheville this afternoon at a Target and someone shot off some bottle rockets at a nearby apartment complex. Qannik tried to remove himself from his seatbelt and climb into the front seat, despite the fact that that would be impossible. The humans got him calmed down and we left before more could be fired.
Your Momma is smart making Dad get rid of the ticks. They are soooo gross!

Hi to the BT Royalty!
We did not have such a good night last night, the booming seemed to go on and on. I did find a new hiding spot though that I like in the utility room.
Then they started shooting rockets or firecrackers mid morning, through afternoon. Bet some bizzy bee will do some tonight too. I wish those things were OUTLAWED!
I'm glad you guys are OK!
Kisses,
Stella
We are so glad to hear that Eva came through the 4th okay. It was really loud here but we just ran around and barked. Good looking park to run around in!
