Boys are pushy!

Girls are polite and graceful. Boys are pushy and rude. I can see all the girls out there agreeing with me and all the boys are protesting. I can prove it!

I take treats very gently. Brice has to be reminded or he'll take a few fingers with his treat.

I eat gracefully. Brice wolfs down his food.

I gently jump on the bed or couch after assessing the proper landing spot. Brice leaps from across the room and still doesn't understand paw placement (ask our Dad about that!)

This video is what happens if the gate is closed when Dad comes home from work. Notice that I wait patiently for Momma to open the gate. Brice just pushes me out of the way. Then he always has to dash into the closet to make sure that our toys are still there.

Did you see that Brice has a little issue with "barrier frustration"? He wants to get to the object of his interest and gets overly excited when there is a gate or window in his way or if he's on his leash. If the gate is open, he waits calmly at the garage door. We're working on the issue but he's not progressing as fast as Momma would like him to.

And for a weather update. We had rain, sleet and finally snow. But it was only an inch or two so it's still slippery out there which means that we still can't play in the backyard.

Am I right about boys?

Laughing. The boys here are pushy and rude, true, but they are absolutely dominated by the girls (adding fuel for Brice, I am sure). For all of their boisterousness, the second the Queen Natasha the Evil tells them to back off, they do. Same for Kiska and, to an extent, even little Cheoah. The girls always get the couch first, through a door first, etc. They just appear less rude about it.

In agreement here with both Khyra and the TH. Dakota always lets the boys know who is boss here, even if it is with a little less enthusiasm lately. And we really only have silly behavior from TD, Phantom is very much the gentleman. We must all hope that with age comes wisdom.

Loved the video.

Foley is very pushy. He is always trying to be the center of attention. He is not as pushy when the cats are around. He is happy to be in the other room then.

Well, Zim is actually quite sweet and not pushy at all. Did you get that from when you met him? We all take things really nice.... but yes, DAVE can be a bit pushy. He wants you to let Brice know he can come over and knock that gate out for him if he'd like.

Well , I will take off fingers to get to food, and Scampi will gently take them sweetly. I need to train him better. Food is worth getting pushy for! What is a few missing fingers?

Steve has those same problems! Except the paw placement. He doesn't stand on Mom or Dad, but I have that problem. (you can ask my dad too)

Boys are ridiculous.

PS. Mom saw a Terv doing agility at the dog show!
