Grandma says...

Grandma misses Tasha and shared these words of wisdom with Momma and Dad-

One of the downsides to bringing a dog into your family, is that you have to deal with the pain of when their time is up. If you wanted a pet with a long life span, you should get a turtle. To which Dad responded "Well, that would be a really exciting game of fetch". Dad is so silly.

No offense to our neighbors who actually do have turtles as pets. Or at least no more offense than normal when Momma asks them how the pet rocks are doing.

The "I am finally being treated like the true princess that I am" yet lonely,
Eva

Eva,
We knew a turtle once in AZ. His name is Prince. He was old and small and wasn't much fun to play with... hiding all the time when we were around. He still lives there with his family... we like the pet rocks reference...

My nephews Peanut and Flash live with turtles. Their Mom is goofy over them.
I feel for you. My brothers drink me to drink, but I would be very sad without them.
Please add us to your friends list.

Hiya Princess Eva

Please don't be lonely. I love you very much. Even though I am not very near. And please tell silly Momma that it didn't matter about the three-legged photograph of Tasha. After all, mistress often takes pictures of me with my legs chopped off when I am doing paw tucks, or when I am headless lying under the sideboard.

I wonder if I was a turtle in a previous life? I don't do fetch either.

I don't know about your grandma. A turtle seems pretty boring and not very cuddly. Do they even give kisses? Are there turtle parks where a turtle can play off leash? Do turtles have leashes? So many questions.

Eva, if you're lonely, you can come over and play, or we can send you Wilbur. Your choice.

Luv,
Kat

We have turtles. Our one turtle is very personable to the humans though she doesn't like me much. The other one is still little and hides from everyone pretty much. Mom says people who don't own turtles don't understand just like people who don't love dogs like most of our humans do don't understand I am sorry you are lonely. I would come play with you.

Mom pointed out that turtles don't shed. I pointed out that they don't give slurpy kisses or "woo" either. So there Mom!
