At the Park and a Ship for Pippa

Hello, fur buddies, Eva here today. Thanks to a break in all the rain we have been having lately, dad took us to one of our favorite places on Sunday. Its a dog park by Lake Zumbro near Victoria, Minnesota. Its a wonderful place that covers 26 acres and is completely fenced.

Here we are right after we arrived checking out all the great smells.

Do I look happy or what?!?! I just love this park!!

Here's a shot from the top of the hill that is about in the middle of the park. You can kind of see the fence. It is just in front of the bigger trees at the bottom of the hill. (Click on the picture to get a bigger view.)

Here is a shot of Tasha at the bottom of that hill. Doesn't she look happy to be at the park? You may notice that the fur on her belly and legs is all wet. Here is how she got that way.

We had SOOOO much fun in that fabulous swamp. Dad said we smelled bad, but it was way worth it!!

We met some new friends at the park, too. Here are just three of the pups we got to know. These two long haired German Shepards are litter mates named Nia and Mia and the Golden Retriever is Buddy. They had lots of energy and were really fun to run with. After a walk around the park, Nia and Mia decided it would be a good idea to lay down in a water hole. What a wonderful idea!! We always have the best time when we can get out to the dog park!

As some of you may know, our friend Pippa is in the process of putting together a movie called "Pippa Goes Cruising". He said that he needs a ship for his movie. When momma and dad were on vacation they ran across this little number that might fill the bill. Momma and dad said that they counted 8 crew members and 5 staff members. That might be enough people to wait on the cast paw and muzzle! What do you think, Pippa, would this beauty due for your movie?

Since momma and dad posted a picture from their vacation, they must post a picture of some other type of animal. When dad was snorkeling off the south end of Key Biscayne he got a BIG surprise. Can you see a nose poking out of the water in this next picture? That is a Florida manatee nose!! Little did dad know that he would be swimming with 6 manatees in the wild! He said it was quite the thrill, but a little scary for a farm boy from Minnesota! We hope every furkid is having a good week and we'll woof at you soon!

Belly Rubs, Eva.

A manatee! I've never seen a real one before. I bet your human dad was excited to see that!

Hope you all have a good night,

That dog park sure looks like fun. Did you get baths when you got home?
Look for a box in the mail. We're asking you to help with a test.

Hi Tasha & Eva,
So glad you stopped by our blog. My mom's little boy, Clive, used to stop by to say hi before he passed away.

I'm very happy in my new and getting used to all the new things. I just love your park!!! It looks like you have lots of fun there. My mommy used to golf at Deer Run in Victoria! We would love to have you put our link up on your site. We'd like to do the same with you!
