Horka

Have you ever noticed that one of your humans is more observant than the other(s).

Earlier in the week, it was Momma who figured out that I was stuck under the bed and then Friday night when I did the horka dance on Momma and Dad's bed, Momma heard me from the other side of the house but Dad (who was sleeping right next to me) never even moved!!! He didn't even notice that Momma turned on the light and took the duvet cover off the down comforter.

Once again, I heard the phrase "you're lucky that you're pretty". She's joking...I think!?!

I am doing the horka dance less often now that I'm not allowed to have any more yogurt.

The very beautiful,
Eva

P.S. no pictures today cuz I'm hiding in my kennel from the evil Dish guy and Dad's at the Vikings game.
P.P.S. She used the pet stain remover but the comforter still has a slight aroma. Just add the comforter to the list of things I've modified/destroyed/eaten.

Sorry to hear about you doing the horka! I horkaed this morning under the dining room table. Dad didn't hear me, but Mom did. Dad was right in the kitchen; Mom was asleep in the bedroom. I think moms and dads everywhere must be like that!
Hope you feel better!

Amber

Oh our Mom can hear us from miles away! She claims there's nothing like that distinctive sound and she can pick it out from wherever she is. It's yet another talent we all seem to have! Great way to make Mom run.

Hi Eva!

Is the Horka dance kinda like the "oh no, gotta poopy right now whereever I am & doesn't matter if its a $400 down comforter or brand new carpet that will have a nice new scratch & sniff aroma with brown stains" kinda dance? Hate it when that happens!

Love & Licks,
Randi

ps..Hi to Tasha too!

Ohwoo, poor Eva. That's so unfair that yummy yogurt makes you horka. Are you sure it was the yogurt & you didn't just have a furball from chewing on Tasha?
Our mama has those magical pup-hearing powers too, it must be a mama thang...

Lizzy's mom is like that too, she can hear anything in the house. And that's good too, 'cause last week she could hear water leaking in the pipes in the wall, which no one else could hear but it would have been a big problem if it wasn't fixed in just a few more days.

Oh, that is defintely true in our house. One night I was making the throw-up noises and Mom woke up to help me hurry outside. Then we came back in a turned the light on so Mom could examine the floor and Dad was like, "what?"

How is your tummy? You can't have yogurt? Maybe your mom will make you some special dog biscuits.

Our mom is the same. She just knows when we have done something she needs to check on.
