Dog Park Saturday

We understand that dog off-leash are not for everyone or everypup. We only go to large parks and not at the busy times. Too many dogs in too small of a space is trouble waiting to happen. We go so that Brice can really stretch out and run. Eva really enjoys it too. You should hear the noises they make when asked if they want to go to the park. And Eva quivers with excitement as we approach their usual parks.

After helping Dad with the trees on Saturday morning, we headed to the Staring Lake Dog Park as our reward. There are some people and dogs that just hang out by the gate. Since we are there for exercise, we sniff a quick hello to the dogs there but then head down the trails to the back of the park where there are few if any dogs.

Which way should we go first?

Just reading the pee-mail

I think I hear pups over this way

This is a long narrow park and sometimes pups gather in this sandy area that is halfway back from the gate

Down in the ravine, it looks like fall

Two very bewootiful husky/collie girls

We're coming!!!

Eva stopped to exchange greetings with this handsome pup

Our little princess!

We usually play hide and seek with Dad. We take off down a trail while Dad hides and then calls us.

Oops! Where did he go? Don't worry, we did find him. We had to since he had the car keys.

We were so tired when we got home, that it was naps for everyone.

Woof ya later,
Princess Eva & Brice

That look liked fun! I hope you all behave well, when I was young, Mom said I would misbehave at the park by not wanting to leave, she would have to run around to catch me! No I want to go after 15 minutes and stand by the get. Ahh the energy of youth!

Wow, Eva...that close-up of you near the end of this post was stunning!!!

Hope Brice didn't stomp too many poor little chihuahuas! (0:

In regards to your comment on my blog, I think Belgians (especially Tueverians) are BEAUTIFUL and wouldn't mind trying that disguise at all! As to the bit about not teasing my Spokeswoman...well, that is one of the few pleasures I have in life...don't deprive me of it! Besides, she NEEDS someone there to take her down a peg or two. I have to keep her in line for the sake of those little Ninjas! (Just ask THEM!!!)

Oops! Poor spelling on my part! I meant "Tervurenians". (I know...the "ian" part probably makes it a made-up word...but even made-up words should be spelled accurately!)

You guys look bewootiful walking/running the trails.
I feel just a little jelus because we don't have any dog parks here and I need to run, too.

We have a big empty lot next door to us, but its only fenced on two sides. My Mom says she is looking!

Kisses,
Stella

What a great park, I love that your dad play hide and seek with you, that would be so much fun. =)

You have such great dog parks. Ours here are relatively small and people do not pay attention to the small dog / big dog signs. For some reason, our humans are afraid we might hurt one of the little dogs. So we only go when we can have it by ourselves or with dogs we know well. That is why we hike instead so much.

I used to get super excited about the dog park too. Until Kat got into a cranky fight and we haven't gotten to go back. I don't know why I am being punished for her girlie attitude. I love dogs!

PS. Maybe I can show these pictures to my mom and she'll take me to the park by myself.
