A Half Day with Dad

Hi fur buddies, Eva here. Tasha and I got a great surprise today. Dad got a half a day off of work so he was home by 10:30 a.m. today! Yippeee!! He gets to work by 5:00 a.m. so that is why he was home so early. Momma has been out of town all week, so we were so very glad to see him. First thing we did was go outside to play. Here is me out back. I think I heard another dog barking when dad took the picture.

Just look at all those puppy prints in the snow. When we look into all our neighbor's yards, there is all this smooth, un-tracked snow. We would just love to change that, but dad won't let us.
Here we are playing in the piles that dad makes for us when he clears the snow off the patio. We just LOVE snow piles!

When we got inside, what do you think we get? A treat of course! Here is a little video of us getting our treats. As you will see, I'm still having a little trouble trusting the footing on the hardwood floor.

For the rest of the day we have been watching Lord of the Rings The Two Towers and Return of the King. (Yes, dad is kind of a geek). At least he has been laying on the floor with us and giving us pets, scratches, and belly rubs! He can watch anything he wants if he give us that kind of attention. What a great day!
