What a weekend!

It was such a busy weekend.

Saturday, I played ball with Dad while Brice went with Momma to get kibble. But then they both left us alone for hours and hours and hours while they went to help transport some rescued Boxers. At first we were upset that our dinner was 2 hours late but then they explained why. We gave them our approval to leave us alone and delay our meals anytime that the opportunity is available where they can help homeless dogs.

This is one of the three that rode with Momma and Dad

We started off bright and early on Sunday to go the Fort Snelling State Park for a little exercise. Yes Qannik, we know that this is more of a nature walk than hiking but the park is in the middle of a large metro area. So we take what we can get.

We've got our gear on and just waiting for the humans to be ready

Stop being so slow! I've got things to sniff and Bricey has got things to water!

Finally!! And I'm leading the way

When we stop for a water break, we always thank Momma and Dad

Brice adds the personal touch when he thanks Dad

Momma forgot to use water from both sides of his pack so Brice was packed a little uneven.
Plus they make him carry out our trash.

Back at the truck we show one of the benefits of having pointy snooters

Dad and Brice spent a few hours napping.
For you little pups, if your parents complain about how heavy you are, tell them that at least they don't have a solid 55lbs who likes to nap on top of them.

As if the day wasn't full enough, Bella came over to play.
OK, "play" is not really the right word. It was more like sniff and go hide by her dad.

And then Niko was visiting her grandparents across the street so she came over to play.
She wanted to play with Brice's Flying Squirrel but that did not go over too well so all the toys got put away.

We were tired pups by the time the day was done. I think we might be able to talk Momma into sleeping late in the morning.

Woof ya later,
Princess Eva

First, Qannik gives his paws up for a trail - any trail. We hike/walk on all sorts of trails and anything like that is awesome!

Secondly, our human smiled at the 55lbs of sleeping. We just all try to decide who gets to sleep on top of the human. Apparently there is a limit of one at a time. Sheesh.

And salute for the transport! Excellent work and even we will tolerate a late meal for that (not that our meals are very regularly timed anyway).

Wooos! Great adventures! I am sure that the flying squirrel would have been in shreds if Mom and Dad had not taken it.
I am sure dinner can wait when Mom is doing such an awesome job transporting! Woos to Her!!!!!!!

I walk where the seement grows! Its OK though, I meet lots of peoples and always have a good time.

Yippee for the transport! That is such a good thing to do.

You had a nice weekend, and 55 lbs on top of your Dad shouldn't be too much! Eva could then lay across his legs.

Kisses,
Stella

Thanks to your mom and dad for helping those pups get to a safe place.

A walk in the park would be great any day - sure looks like you had fun. Mom says she is going to get TD a backpack so he can carry the poop bags home for her:)

What a busy weekend you had! You'll probably need to have lots of naps this week to recover.

Hehehehe the tugging picture is so cute! Hey, please tell Brice I tagged him in a fun game, if you don't mind letting him post that is. Or you could both play.

Since Eva doesn't wear a pack, I have to know if Brice has to carry Eva's poop. That would be the ultimate GIRLS RULE!
