I was a bad, bad boy

Last night I went downstairs with Momma to discuss dinner with Dad. For some reason, I wanted to play "King of the Mountain" and hopped up on Dad's pool table. They stood there stunned while I did a few laps on it before they told me to get off it.

When Momma took me downstairs this morning to take this picture. I did it again. I foresee a "talk" with Dad tonight.

Years ago Dad built a pocket gate to keep any future dogs from being able to run up and downstairs between the two levels of our house. Since I have a tendency to find things downstairs and stash them in our room for destruction later, this gate is usually closed.

Later last night Momma noticed that I was not in the living room with them so she checked to make sure the gate was closed. She did find me in the hallway with a new "chew toy".
These were Momma's favorite yard raking, poo patrol, snow shoveling boots. She keeps them in the foyer which is on the other side of the gate. Guess she's the poo monitor for the next few days to make sure that everything is still processing.

I think I'll try to stay out of trouble for the rest of the day,
Brice, the Duke of Destruction

Well... um... my mom's feets get really HOT when she wears boots, so maybe you were just trying to make sure your mom would be comfy. :) Her feets won't get too hot now!
Dave said maybe you thought it was a stuffy. Hee hee hee.
PS: Guilty or not, you're VERY handsome!

I think you need your attorney at claw. How does she know you were not protecting her boot from the intruder who had broken into the house and ripped up the boot. You should be a hero!

And we have gates too, except the one on the steps is actually two gates. It seems some puppy - ok, Kiska - thinks jump over the gates is fair, so the double gate prevents that.

Aw, Brice, woo were just making her a way to let the odors out, right? We were quite relieved, when we saw the title of today's post, we were worried woo had gotten a way to get into that sofa woo so want to lie on.

Woos, the OP Pack

That is a fine job you did on that shoe. Hopefully you do not get plugged up. Dawson is always eating stuffies and he just puts them out in the yard for Grammie to find.

I think that's a good idea to try to stay out of trouble for the rest of the day... I have a feeling your humans aren't very happy right now! Though I must say, you certainly did do a grrrrEAT job on that boot...

Tsk - just when you're having fun, those humans come and spoil it. I would swear they have no manners at all, but at least they feed us!

It musta been tasty! Jack likes to jump up on stuff once in a while too. First thing he did when he arrived here was jump onto the "good" dining room table!
