Secret Field Trip

Momma told us that we get to go on a field trip tomorrow. But she won't tell us where. And she got out the evil brush to make us look pretty. Bad Momma!!!

What's in your kibble..

For those who eat kibble - Now that the "public" has become more aware of what can be in our kibble, there are more great kibbles on the market. Kind of a "build it and they will come" or "ask and you shall receive" or "insert your phrase of choice here" result. We have added a few links to our sidebar for those who eat kibble. These are a few sites that have "independent" reviews of kibbles. Check yours and see how it rates. It's all personal choice and different dogs have different needs.

For the record, we have been fed the following (in no particular order and we liked them all):
Eagle Pack
Go! Natural
Natural Balance
Nature's Variety

P.S. As we have Momma type this we are fully aware that we'll have Dad do our "Few words Friday" in just a few hours. We have them well trained.

Momma had to visit the kibble fairy and this month we get NV Prairie Lamb and Oatmeal and the NV Instinct canned venison. The Momma would never eat lamb or venison herself. Something about the lambs and Bambi should be playing in the fields and not on her plate. But since we like it..............

Since we love this kibble so much, we wanted to share this link with those who may want to try a new kibble and for those who eat raw. These coupons do require an additional purchase. Your choice of :
free bag of kibble (4 -5 lb of the Prairie line or Instinct grain-free line)
frozen raw medallions ( 3 lb bag)

We'll close with a picture of Eva checking to see if the neighbor's dogs are out so that she can bark and annoy the other neighbors. She looks very "fluffy" in this picture but she really is fluffy and not FAT. At the next bath time (spring), we'll do a before and after shot to show that she really is all fur!

Few Words Friday

Hello furkids, Eva here. Here is another cute picture that we found.
You need a bath, little one!
Pippa, do you think you could give a little kitty a bath like that? How about you other pups? I don't think that Wilbur or Tia would like that very much!
We would like to congratulate Uno the Beagle for winning Best in Show at the Westminster Kennel Club dog show the other night. A beagle had never won at Westminster. He sure looked and sounded like a very happy dog after he won. Click on the link to read about his big win.
Have a great weekend everypup, kitty, GG and Human! Belly Rubs, Eva.

Happy Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's Day to all of our friends and our love to each of you today. We appreciate the effort that you spend clawing your humans to post about your lives. All of you bring a little joy to our lives. Thank you!

A special note of love to our Darling Pippa: Maybe you could ask Mistress if you can come visit us once the snow melts. There are a few cats and rabbits in the neighborhood who need a good chasing and you can nap with us on our patio. Plus our Momma is weak when it comes to puppy dog eyes, she always shares her toast with us.

BTW, We were so excited to receive our holiday card from ou
r Darling Pippa. He just received our card the other day also. Apparently, the cards were on a very slow boat but we knew that they would eventually arrive.

Here is what we got for the Momma for Valentine's Day. Dad got her the sappy card, but we each gave her a bag of Kisses! We want her to take them to work with her and then think of us giving her wet, slobbery, puppy kisses when she eats them. What better Valentine's gift can there be than kisses from those you love?

Belly Rubs to all and snoses to Pippa,

Eva's First Stuffie

We have a confession. We're not really into stuffies. Admittedly, we do have a stuffed goose that honks that we like to play with and a few things that crinkle but not a lot of things that squeek.

Here is the evidence. This is the stuffie that Eva's breeder sent home with her.........FOUR years ago. It is always in our toy box and Eva does get it out to play with.

One of the feet is chewed.

A close-up of the damage

We're sorry that we (even Tasha who is part husky) do not have the "Must destroy stuffie" gene.
Forgive us?
Tasha & Eva
